Practice
Wazifas as adhkār — with adab
On this site, “wazifa” means a regular practice of remembrance (dhikr), not a formula that guarantees worldly results. Classical courtesy (adab) comes first: sincere intention, consistency within one’s capacity, lawful living, and — when seeking deeper guidance — consulting a qualified teacher. We list only widely known remembrances with clear sources. We do not promise healing, wealth, or any specific outcome.
Adab before quantity
- Intention: remember Allah for His sake, not as a transaction.
- Consistency: a little done regularly is better than bursts that fade.
- Lawful living: remembrance and rightful conduct belong together.
- Guidance: for formal spiritual training, seek a living teacher; this page is educational.
Adhkār after the prayer
After each obligatory prayer, a well-known practice is to glorify, praise, and magnify Allah thirty-three times each, completing one hundred with the testimony of unity.
Sahih Muslim 597a
SubḥānAllāh (33) · Alḥamdulillāh (33) · Allāhu Akbar (33), then:
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
La ilaha illa Allah, wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd, wa huwa ʿala kulli shayʾin qadir.
Source note: Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught this after-prayer remembrance. Read the full narration on sunnah.com — we do not restate reward claims beyond what the hadith itself states.

Istighfār — seeking forgiveness
A simple, widely practised remembrance is to say Astaghfirullāh (“I seek Allah’s forgiveness”) with presence of heart. Make it part of morning and evening quiet, without inventing special counts that claim guaranteed results. Pair it with repairing wrongs where you can.
Ṣalawāt upon the Prophet ﷺ
Sahih Muslim 408
Sending blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ is a beloved act of worship. One authentic report states that whoever sends blessings upon him once, Allah blesses that person ten times.
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ
Allahumma salli ʿala Muhammad.

Building a gentle routine
After the obligatory prayer, the thirty-three / thirty-three / thirty-three remembrance is a steady place to begin. Add istighfār in the morning or evening, and ṣalawāt whenever the Prophet ﷺ is mentioned or when the heart needs soft focus. Keep counts honest — do not invent elaborate schemes that promise wealth or cures. If a practice feels heavy, reduce it; sincerity outweighs display.
For Qurʾanic duas to pair with these remembrances, see the Duas page. For manners of the path in classical language, see Adab.
What we deliberately leave out
This page does not list amulets, magic, miracle claims, or wazifas marketed for money or medicine. If you encounter such claims elsewhere, treat them with caution and ask a trusted scholar.
